Two and a half years ago, Guggenheim started up Vivi G., having never been involved in retail from the selling side. Her first two shops are in Glen Mills and Wayne, Pa.

“I was a woman of leisure,” she said. “I’ve been power shopping with Jenny, my daughter, now 27 who works with me in the business, since she was in a stroller.
“I always wanted a boutique in Palm Beach,” Guggenheim said. “This is a shopping mecca — and I felt it was the right time to open here, as we can offer something for just about every woman at every price point.”
Shoes are the primary focus of Vivi G., along with assortments of handbags and accessories, including fashion and designer jewelry from Lee Angle, Alexis Bittar, Stephen Dweck and Vaubel.

Guggenheim works in partnership with Delman, and offers a wide range of styles from the venerable shoe company, including many models made especially for Vivi G. “So far, the number one seller here has been Delman’s boots,” Guggenheim said.

Sam Edelman just debuted his first namesake boutique at 150 Worth. Goodman thought it would be a great idea to bring such a label to the island market, and when he realized that he knew the Edelmans himself, encouraged them to open at 150 Worth.
